Abstract
Though the individual various liver disease and its liver function test has been well established¢¥, 2, 11, it is not easy to find previous
reports of the histological morphology and corresponding laboratory findings in collection of various liver diseases¢¥, s, 6, 7)
The liver is not only the largest organ but also from metabolic standpoint the most complex internal organ in the living body.
Therefore metabolic disturbances in certain hepatic disease is quite diverse and characteristic as well as the histological ivestigation. Each test differs widely in the sensitivity in various pathologic processes
The less sensitive test may give normal results even when only about 15 % of the liver parenchyma is functioning. The well established function study is notable in assessing the extent of the liver damage¢¥).
Despite the pathophysiology of many clinical disorders have been clarified by recent achievement of basic science, there are still a lot of remaing problems unascertained. The author attempted to collect pathological materials of various liver diseases and investigated the general picture of correlation between histological morphology and their immediate laboratory findings.
